Yooo! I’m Misael, a self-taught artist and designer born in Mexico and raised in San Francisco. A recent graduate from the Academy at Goodby Silverstein and Partners with a focus on art direction. From a young age, I was naturally drawn to art and design with music, skateboarding, magazines, and movies being my main inspiration. In my late teens, I found a strong passion for creating and making stuff, what once started as doodles and sketches on shirts has now turned into full clothing collections and campaigns. My latest venture is 11WRK; a fashion label and manufacturing studio in the heart of Excelsior that also serves as an incubator for other artists and designers I grew up with in SF.
This portfolio was mainly created as the end product of an advertising program, The Academy at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, where I completed a year of Art direction training.
